Cornell Assemblage, LLC

Cornell Assemblage is a professional grade, sound reinforcement company providing audio services to the Philadelphia and Mid-Atlantic region. This project was a ground-up operation starting with a web consultation that led to a branding review and way forward for Cornell Assemblage's digital and online presence. This included setting up a hosting account, domain, personalized email accounts, subcontracting a designer for logo & branding development, marketing & content strategies for social media and a web design consult. We developed a one-page responsive WordPress theme that was modern, sleek and built out a custom landing page, contact form and website map that unfolded Cornell Assemblage's business services and capabilities. In addition to data entry, I assisted in creating and setting up a Google Analytics account to track online activity, along with email forwards and e-signatures that matched the Cornell Assemblage branding.

Vermilion Bird

NYC-based Producer Vermilion Bird, wanted a minimal, yet effective web design to showcase music releases and promotional media with customized accents to match her logo & branding. In addition, she wanted the ability to manage her own content and to develop a blog over time. Our main focus was to encourage users to purchase & stream music, subscribe to her e-newsletter for special offers and visit her social media links. We stylized the landing page to do just that, giving users everything they needed with minimal scrolling and went with a WordPress-based CMS to handle content updates. I assisted with web development, setting up hosting/domain, email accounts, content management and data entry.

Love and Hair Peace Salon

Love and Hair Peace is a speciality salon catering to women who are in need of serious hair including damage from other stylists, improper color treatment, or poor hair extension application. Owner, Cassandra Angelucci wanted to update their WordPress website to be responsive and look like their hair salon with a pink, black, white color palette & damask textile patterns. Through a web design consult, we conceptualized a fashionable, edgy, and user-friendly layout that matched the salon's branding and vibe. Cassandra also wanted better way to show off her work portfolio. As a solution, we used an isotope gallery filtering system to display a variety of services available including bridal, editorial, color and cut, hair extensions, weddings and formal hair, hair loss transformations and trichotillomania transformations. We added a contact form with required fields and ReCaptcha to ward off spam, integrated several social media apps like Instagram to show the latest uploaded images and created unique emails and passwords for the Love and Hair Peace staff. In addition to data entry and content strategy, I assisted with front-end development.

I Love Starina

Starina Catchatoorian, a Brooklyn-based singer and songwriter was in need of few content-related adjustments and integrating several web applications to her WordPress-based website. Work included adding a Kickstarter widget, Bandcamp widget, Mailchimp subscription sign-up form, a way to streamline her photo gallery and adding a social media icons section to the landing page and footer. An avid writer and blogger, Starina wanted a way to distinguish promotional music news from her published work and online articles. She also wanted an easy way to publish blog posts on Wordpress with an autopost feature, sharing them to multiple Facebook pages. In using WordPress's "category tags", we were able to create seperate pages in the navigation menu for "News" and "Writings. With the installation of the WordPress plugin "Facebook Publish", Starina could publish a blogpost from Wordpress to her Facebook Fan pages and personal Facebook timeline.

Infinite Bit Clothing Store

Established in 2013, Infinite Bit is an American clothing company that empowers emerging visionary artists by connecting lovers of art with one of a kind garments. CEO, Jerry Cannon wanted to improve the social media marketing tools, visual identity and architecture of the website for desktop and mobile views, providing a user-friendly experience. Jerry conceptualized a way to generate new content to his online store with 'artist profiles'. Each artist profile features a short biography, artist headshot, social media links and a way for Shopify to only show clothing with the artist's artwork on it, filtering through all products and collections. I assisted in creating wireframes to brainstorm how the layout for the artist profiles would look and subcontracted a back-end developer with Shopify experience to assist in making Jerry's idea a reality. We gave the navigation menu a makeover, added a marketing banner with social media icons and rearranged the homepage's layout to show more products by resizing images to reduce pagniation. Over the course of several months we were able to add a fresh new touch to Infinite Bit website.
